Hey Gorgeous Hey:
Lately I have been receiving questions concerning the outfit I wore to The Millennium Tour. I was a little hesitant to do a review on the outfit, especially since the tour was roughly 2 months ago. Nevertheless, this was a request...so, here we go!
I always aim to be stylish on an affordable budget. With that being said, listed below are the pieces of my affordable concert outfit.
Shoes: I will always have this undying love for Spice Girls and their style. When I saw these shoes, I felt that Spice Girls vibe and literally fell in love. Countless websites had the platform shoes, but the price was ridiculous and I am all about 'cheap'. My last hope was Amazon! Two days before the concert, I purchased the platforms for $39.80, and they arrived just in time due to me being a Prime Member. The material stretches to your feet, making it a comfortable experience. The platform heel of the shoe was a little difficult to walk in at first, but after 10 minutes I definitely had the hang of it.
Skirt: I ordered the Neon Green Skirt from BooHoo.com, in the plus section. It was my first purchase from this particular online site, but I absolutely do not regret this purchase. The material is stretchy and soft allowing the skirt to fit nicely over my curves. Usually, ordering clothing online really stress me out, either it’s true to size or you have to order a size bigger or smaller, and that can get stressful for me. However, with BooHoo, after reading reviews and watching YouTube hauls I decided to order an XL. It was true to size and fit perfectly. I purchased the skirt for only $6.00 (not including shipping and handling)!!! It arrived roughly 4 days after I ordered it and I could not be more pleased. I plan on ordering from them again soon!
Shirt: I purchased my neon Reptar shirt from a store in my local mall called F.Y.I. The store had a sale on select items and I paid $5.00 for this shirt. I origianlly wanted this shirt in a Large, but F.Y.I didn’t have a Large or XL so I had to purchase an XXL. I’m really glad I did, because it left room for creativity. Since the shirt was too big, I was able to tie a cute little knot in the front, which really added to the individuality of my outfit and paired beautifully with my blue jean jacket.
Overall, I feel the outfit was a success and meshed together so beautifully and did not put a hole in my pocket! Until later, stay gorgeous!
